This process has lead us into the Ecuadorian cacao fields. We have covered thousands of miles of land visiting provinces, cantons, farms and small ranches to discover more grain varieties with singular scents and tastes typical of each zone.
Ecuador has approximately 350.000 hectares dedicated to cacao cultivation, most of them owned by small family producers who, with a great deal of effort and scarce resources, expect to improve their standard of living by preserving and cultivating cacao.
